The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction) qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed as a supervisor to undertake this qualification.
This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and Recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can gain the gold CSCS card.
What's involved in the NVQ level 3 for occupational work supervision?
To achieve this NVQ you'll need to provide evidence to demonstrate that you are a competent Supervisor. Evidence can include:

An observation report from your assessor

A witness testimony from your line manager

Photographs and videos
-
Work Based evidence
-
Professional discussion
-
Knowledge Questions

There are six mandatory units to complete:
-
Confirming the Occupational Method of Work in the Workplace
-
Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the Workplace
-
Co-ordinating and organising work operations in the workplace
-
Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace
-
Implementing and maintaining health, safety, environmental and welfare practices in the workplace
-
Monitoring progress of work against schedules in the workplace

You'll also need to complete 2 out of 4 optional units:

Allocating and monitoring the use of plant, machinery, equipment or vehicles in the workplace
-
Confirming work meets contractual, industry and manufacturers’ standards in the workplace
-
Co-ordinating and confirming the dimensional control requirements of the work in the workplace
-
Implementing procedures to support team performance in the workplace

How long will the NVQ level 3 process take?
​
This assessment is usually completed in 3-6 months.

The price for this NVQ is £750 + VAT inclusive of certification.
