Some of our most popular products are the CITB Site Safety Plus range of courses which are the industry standard qualifications for Operatives, Supervisors and Managers within the construction industry.
It is a legal requirement that employees have adequate training to safely carry out their role. JTW Construction Training can provide training to ensure legal compliance and help your staff to be able to Recognise and rectify unsafe conditions on site before they become a near miss or result in an injury.
Our trainers have decades of "boots on the ground" experience and go above and beyond when training to ensure that learners come are left with the knowledge to operate safely within their role and an attitude that promotes a positive safety culture.
We run regular open online and classroom courses along with onsite construction based training almost anywhere in the united kingdom. With the ability to train a single person or a group of up to 20 as per scheme rules we can ensure your workforce is upskilled whilst causing minimum disruption.

The CITB One Day Level 1 Health and Safety Awareness Course (HSA) Online zoom training session.
This course is now a requirement to obtain a green CSCS card and is a great first step into the construction industry.
Course content includes Health & safety legislation, Safe systems of work, construction documents, accident & Near miss reporting, risk assessment, health & welfare, Manual handling, excavations, work at height etc.
The course is 7.5 hours with a short multiple choice examination at the end of the learning activity.
Prices are £85 plus VAT inclusive of CITB mandatory publications and certification fees.
The CITB 2 Day Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
This is our most popular course and we regularly run these courses on weekends to reduce the impact on work schedules.
This course is the standard qualification for supervisors in the United Kingdom and is usually the first step into supervision/management for most people.
Course content includes A short mock exam, Health & safety legislation, Safe systems of work, construction documents, accident & Near miss reporting, risk assessment, health & welfare, occupational health, Asbestos, Silica, Lifting operations, Plant and equipment, Manual handling, excavations, work at height etc. Candidates will take part in a risk assessment exercise and deliver a toolbox talk.
The course is 15 hours over 2 days with a short multiple choice examination at the end of the Learning activity.
Prices are £185 Plus VAT inclusive of CITB mandatory publications, Toolbox talks book and GE 706 supervisor hand book and certification fees.
The CITB 5 Day Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
This course is the standard qualification for site Managers in the United Kingdom we regularly run these courses on weekends to reduce the impact on work schedules.
Course content includes A short mock exam, Health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, Construction Phase plans, Safe systems of work, Key construction documents, accident & investigation, risk assessment, health & welfare, occupational health, Asbestos, Silica, Lifting operations, Plant and equipment, Manual handling, excavations, buried services, Overhead lines, confined spaces, work at height, environmental consideration etc. Candidates will take part in a Construction phase plan exercise, a Risk assessment exercise, an accident investigation exercise and present a site set up exercise.
The course is 37.5 hours over 5 days with an examination at the end of the Learning activity.
